We Salute You, Ma’am and Sir!

?Behind every successful person is someone who’s very proud of his or her achievements. While others may simply call them “Ma’am”, “Sir”, “Madam”, “Mister”, “Miss”, “Professor” there is no denying that theirs is one noble profession: Teacher. As you recall your student life, you remember the different types of teachers you have encountered. You might reminisce about your fair share of experiences with them including those tremendous amount of seat works and home works to be submitted the following day, on-the spot essay writing, and surprise quizzes. You also remember how you fought back your fear of public speaking just to deliver that report to the whole class. You may have felt that all those things were pointless and that your teacher was being mean, but in reality, all those experiences helped in shaping your present self. Being a teacher is no joke as you can never go to class unprepared.

Imagine a whole bunch of faces looking at you in anticipation, awaiting that chockfull of new knowledge that you are about to divulge. No, you can never come to class unprepared. And with this follows sleepless nights of every teacher who even compromises their health in the name of education; the professors who meticulously prepare and check the lesson plans before carrying out the lecture. This kind of dedication is hard to match. One must really have the heart and the guts to impart knowledge for the betterment of the future, ?As we celebrate National Teacher’s Month, gather your batch mates and spare some of your time for your teachers.
