Trade Marketing Supervisor

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans aligned with overall business goals and sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for brand visibility and product placement within retail channels, including stores, supermarkets, and distributors.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective merchandising and promotion of products in-store.
  • Coordinate the design and production of trade marketing materials, including point-of-sale displays, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of trade marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Manage the deployment of commerce resources, including promotional materials, product samples, and demonstration kits.
  • Allocate budget for trade marketing activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial targets.
  • Lead and develop a team of trade marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and other stakeholders in the trade channel.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform trade marketing strategies.


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in trade marketing, sales, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of sales fundamentals and experience driving sales through trade marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy commerce resources effectively to enhance brand visibility and drive product sales.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with retail partners.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the local retail landscape, distribution channels, and consumer preferences in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, preferred.
