Quality Assurance Assistant Supervisor


Job Description

  • Perform inspection of all incoming raw materials and packaging materials
  • conduct in line inspection from ingredients preparation to finished products
  • Perform finished product analysis and testing
  • Conduct audits on all areas of the process
  • Prepare report for each assigned task
  • Conduct batch test prior to the usage of materials at production
  • Performs all other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Assists in the supervision of Main and Toll Manufacturing plants
  • Review reports, confer with quality assurance, and interfacing departments to solve work related problems.
  • Assists in the supervision and coordination activities of QA engaged in the verification of in-process products, product validation and applying knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures
  • Approves the release of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished products for distribution.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or any related courses
  • With advanced working knowledge in baking and science technology
  • With at least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and at least 1 year of experience in leadership role
  • Proficient and highly knowledgeable in microbial analysis or laboratory analysis
  • Can handle pressure and can perform multi-tasking
  • Knowledgeable in ISO Audit and HACCP Certification
  • Willing to work in a rotational shifting schedule and extending working hours when the need arises
