Gardenia Quiche Pan de Sal

Ingredients

1 pack of Gardenia Whole Wheat Buns
1/2 cup of Butter
1/2 pc of Onion, White
5 pcs. of Egg
1 1/2 cup of Cooking Cream
1 tsp of Salt
1/2 tsp of Pepper
1 1/2 cup of Cooked Ham
2 cups of Cheese Blend (Parmesan, Cheddar, Mozzarella)
1/4 cup of Spring Onions

Procedure

Peel and chop onion.
In a pan with oil, cook for 3-5 minutes until the onions are soft. Set aside.
Grate cheese, set aside.
Slice ham into small squares, set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, ham, cheese, cooked onion, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Preheat the oven / toaster, and grease the baking dish using butter.
Cut a piece of Gardenia Whole Wheat Bun halfway in the middle and score a ‘x’ pattern on the top of the bun.

Add half of ham and cheese into the bun, set aside
Pace the bun inside of the baking dish and pour in the egg mixture.
Add more cheese, transfer to the oven / toaster.

Cook until the egg mixture is cooked and solid. Should take around 15-20 minutes
Once cooked, take it out of the oven / toaster. Set aside for a few minutes
Note: Best served warm but not scalding hot.
