Gardenia Fruit Trifle

Ingredients

Gardenia High Fiber Whole Wheat Bread 2 Slices

Pastry Cream:
Egg yolk 2 pcs
Cornstarch 1 tbsp
Sugar 100 g
Salt to taste
Milk 250ml

Fruits:
Mango 100g
Kiwi 50g

Procedure

1.) In a bowl, combine, egg yolks, 3/4 parts of the sugar, salt and cornstarch and mix until smooth.
2.) In a pot, add milk and the remaining sugar then simmer.
3.) Pour half of the milk into the egg mixture and mix together.
4.) Pour the egg mixture back to the pot and continue simmering until the mixture thickens. Set aside.
5.) Slice 2 pcs of Gardenia High Fiber Wheat bread into small cubes.
6.) Pan toast the bread and set aside.

To Assemble:
1.) Place 1 tbsp of toasted Gardenia High Fiber Wheat Bread on a cup.
2.) Add 1 -2 tbsp of pastry cream, 1 tbsp of mango and 1/2 tbsp of kiwi and repeat twice.
3.) Serve and Enjoy! You may serve it chilled.
