Tuyo Sardines Pâté

Ingredients
- 4 slices of Gardenia Wheat Raisin Bread
- 3 pcs. of Tuyo Sardines
- ½ cup of Cream Cheese. Softened
- 2 tbsp. of All Purpose Cream
- 2 tbsp. of Tomato
- 1 tbsp. of Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp. of Salt
- ½ tsp. of Pepper
- 1 tbsp. of Parsley
Procedure
- Wash and dry parsley, set aside
- Chop parsley into a fine chop, set aside.
- In a pan with oil over medium high heat, fry the tuyo sardines on both sides until golden brown.
- Set the fish aside on a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
- Mince the fish into fine crumbs, set aside.
- In a bowl, using a fork / spatula mash the softened cream cheese and add all purpose cream, tomato sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Finish with adding the fish and mix well. Set aside.
- In a dry pan over medium heat, toast the slices of Gardenia Wheat Raisin Bread on both sides.
- Cut the slices into 4 equal square pieces.
- Add 1-2 tsp’s of the pate mixture on each bite-sized square of raisin bread.
- Garnish with a generous sprinkle of parsley to finish.
Transfer to a serving plate / platter.
