Pizza Pillows

Ingredients

4 Slices Gardenia Classic White Bread
40g cheddar cheese
3tbsp tomato sauce
8 slices pepperoni
1tsp salt
1/2 ground black pepper
2tsp olive oil

Procedure

  1. Using a rolling pin or any round object, roll the slices of Gardenia Classic White Bread flat and cut in half. Set aside
  2. On a half rolled slice, start with a layer of tomato sauce.
  3. Then on the top half, add a square of cheese and a slice of pepperoni.
  4. Finish with salt and pepper.
  5. Fold the bottom half over the top half and press on the edges with a fork making sure to seal the edges.
  6. Once the amount of pillows are made, lightly brush with oil.
  7. The pillows can be toasted in a pan or in a oven toaster.
  8. Either way, toast the pillows until they have brown edges or have a brown center.
  9. Transfer to a serving plate platter. Serve and enjoy!
