Herbed Ham & Cheese Panini

Ingredients
• 4 slices Gardenia Healthigrain Loaf
• 2 slices Farmers Ham
• 4 slices Cheese
• 4 leaves Lettuce
• 2 tbsp Butter
• 1 tbsp Parsley
• 1 clove Garlic
• 1/4 pc Onion, small
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/4 tsp Pepper
Procedure
• Wash and dry all produce, set aside.
• Peel garlic and onion.
• Mince parsley, garlic, and onion.
• In a bowl, mix together butter, parsley, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
• Starting with a slice of Gardenia Healthigrain Loaf, spread a layer of butter mixture.
• Then add a layer of ham and then of cheese.
• Top with a lettuce and a second slice of Gardenia Healthigrain Loaf.
• Press in a preheated and oiled panini press or toast in a warmed and oiled pan with grill marks on it and press down.
• Toast until both sides have grilled marks or until cheese is melted.
• Optional: Add lettuce after toasting to avoid wilting.
• Transfer to a serving plate / platter.
