Ham & Corn Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Gardenia High Fiber Whole Wheat Bread
  • 2 slices Ham, slice
  • 4 pcs Egg
  • 1/4 cup Corn Kernels
  • 1/4 cup Spinach
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 slices Sliced Cheese

Procedure

  • Slice the ham and cheese slices into 1″ flat squares. Set aside
  • Roughly chop the spinach, set aside.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs together until the mixture is one solid color.
  • Add the ham, cheese, spinach, corn, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix together until ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • In a pan with oil over medium high heat, pour in the egg mixture.
  • Stir constantly for the first 20 seconds.
  • Spread the par cooked egg mixture over the pan.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low, cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the mixture is fully set.
  • Optional: Fold in half to a half moon shape or flip to cook the other side.
  • Cut the omelette into triangles, set aside
  • To assemble the sandwich, start with a slice of Gardenia High Fiber Whole Wheat Loaf.
  • Add a layer of the omelette on top and finish with the 2nd slice of Gardenia High Fiber Whole Wheat Loaf.
  • Repeat previous steps to make the desired number of sandwiches.
  • Transfer to a serving plate / platter.
  • Serve and enjoy!
