Easy Chicken Melt

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Gardenia Classic White Bread
  • 2 pcs Chicken
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder (Optional)
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder (Optional)
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 4 slices Cheese
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 pc Carrot, small

Procedure

  • Wash and dry all produce, set aside
  • Pat the chicken dry before seasoning with salt, pepper, coriander powder, cumin powder, and cornstarch.
  • In a pan with oil over medium high / high heat, fry / deep fry the pieces of chicken until golden brown and drain off excess oil
  • Quickly place 2 slices of cheese on the chicken to give it time to melt. Set aside
  • Peel and chop the carrots into small pieces and mix with the mayonnaise. Set aside
  • To assemble the sandwich, start with a base of Gardenia Classic White Bread then add a layer of lettuce
  • Then a layer of the carrot mayo mixture, the chicken and cheese, then finish with a second slice of Gardenia Classic White Bread.
  • Transfer to a serving plate / platter
  • Serve and enjoy!
