Gardenia to delight Filipinos with the Happy Bread Day Fair
More than 30,000 years ago since it was first made, bread has become a global food staple enjoyed by millions of people regardless of nationality, religion, political belief, or socio-economic status.
For several generations, bread was, is, and will always be, a vital part of humans’ physical (nutritional) and emotional sustenance, and this fact encouraged bread lovers all over the world to celebrate this via the “World Bread Day,” a global and significant event every October that espouses the philosophy of “sharing” and “breaking” of bread as a meaningful and symbolic humanitarian act.
That is why Gardenia Bakeries will again celebrate its annual Happy Bread Day event. From last year’s celebration in its Laguna plant, Gardenia will now throw out a Happy Bread Day Fair, the ultimate bread treat to all families and friends, this October 20, 2012, at the Eastwood Mall Open Park, Libis, Quezon City.
This year’s celebration will be packed with fun-filled activities that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Marching bands, mascots, dancers and many more will fill the air with a joyous mood. Games and perks will definitely keep the excitement up all throughout the day!
Aside from that, participants can also help the less fortunate kids during the fair. Every loaf that you will buy in the event is equivalent to two loaves of bread that will be donated to Gardenia’s two chosen foundations—one in Luzon and one in Visayas.
This event will surely be the ultimate bread experience! See you there!
