GARDENIA PHILIPPINES BAGS OUTSTANDING EMPLOYER AND TAXPAYER AWARDS

Coinciding with Gardenia’s 25th anniversary celebration this 2023, the leading bread manufacturing company in the country received notable awards recognizing its valuable contributions to the welfare of its community and employees.

Gardenia Bakeries (Philippines), Inc. (GBPI) was named 2022 Employer of the Year by the City of Biñan during the celebration of the Puto Latik Festival held in Laguna. In addition, the local government cited Gardenia as one of the Top 5 Outstanding Taxpayers of the city. These awards attest to the company’s commitment to high standards of quality, not only in its products, but in its HR practices and operations.

Moreover, Gardenia was also conferred by the World Federation of HR Professionals and the Employer Branding Institute as one of the recipients of The Philippines’ Best Employer Brand Award. This citation is given to organizations and brands in Asia with commendable HR strategies in recruitment as well as talent management & development. Aside from the Philippines, the Employer Branding Institute, which is composed of senior HR practitioners in Asia, presents this award to organizations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Cambodia.

Since Gardenia Philippines started its operations in 1998, the company has always strived to invest in the fundamental 4P’s of the company: its world-class manufacturing plants, its innovative process, its quality products, and most importantly, its people who have played a major role in turning the Gardenia brand into the bread industry market leader that it is today.

As Gardenia celebrates 25 years of baking and beyond, the company will stay committed to overseeing the welfare of its employees and community while producing best quality products and promoting wellness and healthier lifestyles to Filipino consumers.
