Gardenia Philippines continues its commitment in promoting healthy living through quality products and community engagement activities. These include wellness initiatives conducted by the company’s registered nutritionists focused on empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and resources needed to lead healthier lives.

For instance, Gardenia recently conducted its Train the Trainors program in Baguio City, held at the Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (DRRMO). This activity aimed to promote community wellness by equipping Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) with essential knowledge about nutrition.

The program brought together 194 BNS from 129 barangays across Baguio, emphasizing the importance of proper nutrition in fostering healthier communities. Facilitated by Gardenia’s team of nutritionists, the sessions provided free training on understanding nutrition labels and preparing balanced meals. These valuable insights empower the BNS to effectively communicate nutritional information to their barangay constituents, ensuring that families in their barangays can make informed food choices.

From January to September of this year, the initiative has trained 737 BNS from 456 barangays, helping them positively impact over 22,000 community members. Through ongoing programs like Train the Trainors, Gardenia continues to foster a culture of wellness and nutrition for communities across the nation, committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of Filipinos.
