Affected families in Parola fire receive bread from Gardenia
About 600 families or at least a thousand individuals were affected by the fire incident that blazed in Parola Compound in Tondo, Manila on February 21 and lasted early morning of February 22.
Gardenia, with the Philippine Red Cross Manila Chapter, distributed more than 1,000 bread loaves to the affected families and individuals who were temporarily sheltered in Jose Abad Santos High School and Guevarra Elementary School.
The bread donation is part of Gardenia’s commitment to provide immediate relief in times of fire and calamities affecting people in need.
