California Raisin Pork Chop Sandwich

Ingredients
8 slices of Gardenia California Raisin Loaf
4 pcs of Pork Chop
2 tbsp of Brown Sugar
4 pcs Lettuce
1 pc of Tomato
1 tbsp of Leeks
1 cup of Fresh Milk
1 tsp of Salt
½ tsp of Pepper
3 tbsp of Mayonnaise
1 pc of Garlic. Clove
1 tsp of Paprika
Procedure
- Wash and dry all produce, set aside.
- Tear lettuce leaves in half to make sure they aren’t too big, set aside.
- Slice the tomato into 1/4″ thick slices crosswise, set aside.
- Dice leeks using both the white and green parts, set aside.
- Peel and mince the garlic clove, set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the Mayo, garlic and paprika together. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper to your preference. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix fresh milk, chopped fresh onion leeks, salt and pepper.
- Place the pork loin chops in this mixture, set mariate for 1-2 hours.
- Once marinated, get the pork chops and pan fry the pork chops until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar to boost the caramelization.
- Take the porkchop out to rest for a few minutes.
- Trim the fat or bone (if any) then slice into thin strips (try to cut against the grain of the meat)
- To assemble, get one slice of Gardenia California Raisin Loaf, start with a piece of lettuce.
- Then add the slices of porkchop, tomato, and the sauce.
- Top the sandwich with another slice of the Gardenia California Raisin Loaf.
