Tuna Frittata Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Gardenia High Fiber Whole Wheat Bread
  • 4 pcs Egg
  • 1 can (155g) Tuna, chunks (drained)
  • 2 tbsp (30g) Cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 2 pcs Tomato, medium
  • 1 pc Cucumber, medium

Procedure

  • Wash and dry all produce, set aside.
  • Cut the cheese into small cubes or sticks, set aside.
  • Slice the tomato and cucumbers into thin slices, set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix together cracked egg, drained tuna, sliced cheese, salt, and pepper.
  • In a pan with oil over medium heat, cook the egg mixture for 3-4 minutes on the first side.
  • Optional: Quickly place in the oven or toaster to brown the top.
  • Once the frittata is cooked, set aside.
  • Starting with a slice of Gardenia Classic White Bread, then layer slices of cucumber and tomato.
  • Next, add a layer of the tuna frittata and top with the 2nd slice of Gardenia Classic White Bread.
  • Repeat steps above to make the number of sandwiches desired.
  • Transfer to a serving plate / platter.
  • Serve and enjoy!
