Honey Mustard Chicken

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Gardenia High Fiber Wheat Raisin Loaf
  • 3 leaves Lettuce
  • 2 pcs Tomato

Honey Mustard Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Mustard

Chicken Marinade

  • 2 pcs Chicken Breast, fillet
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Procedure

  • Wash and dry all produce, set aside.
  • In a bowl, make the marinade by mixing honey, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Once mixed, add the chicken and marinate the chicken for minimum of 1 hour.
  • Remove the excess chicken marinade and in a pan over medium high heat cook the chicken on both sides until the chicken is fully cooked. Set aside to cool.
  • Once the chicken is cooled enough to handle, cut into strips. Set aside
  • In a bowl, mix the ingredients of the honey mustard sauce. Set aside
  • To assemble the sandwich, start with a slide of Gardenia High Fiber Wheat Raisin Loaf and 1-2 leaves of lettuce.
  • Next add slices of tomato to cover the bottom of the sandwich.
  • Add slices of chicken and top with a drizzle of the honey mustard sauce.
  • Finish the sandwich with the second slice of Gardenia High Fiber Wheat Raisin Loaf.
  • If desired, cut into half or quarters
  • Transfer to a plate / platter.
  • Serve and enjoy!
