Chicken Inasal Bun

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 3 pcs Gardenia Premium Pandesal
  • 3 leaves Lettuce
  • 1 tbsp Atsara

For Marinade:

  • 1pc Chicken Thigh
  • 1/4 cup Annatto Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Calamansi Juice
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2pcs Lemongrass
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Inasal Compound Butter

  • 2 tbsp Butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp Annatto oil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tsp Calamansi Zest

Procedure

Procedures:

  • Wash and dry all produce, set aside.
  • For the marinate, peel the garlic and ginger and use the back of the knife to crush the lemongrass for it to release the aroma
  • Mix all the ingredients of the marinate together and let marinate for 2-4 hours.
  • For the compound butter, peel and mince the garlic and mix all the ingredients together. Set aside
  • In a grill pan over medium heat, cook the chicken on both sides until brown and a little charred. Brush with compound butter as needed.
  • Cut the Gardenia Premium Pandesals in half crosswise, move the top bun to the side.
  • To assemble, start with a layer of lettuce and atchara, next layer chicken and add extra compound butter as desired
  • Finish with the top part of the bun
  • Transfer to a plate or platter
  • Serve and enjoy!
