Apple Raisin Bake

Ingredients

    • 4 slices Gardenia California Raisin Loaf
    • 1 cup Beau & Belle UHT Full Cream Milk
    • 1pc Apple, medium
    • 1/2 cup Sugar
    • 2 tbsp Butter
    • 1 pc Egg
    • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
    • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
    • 2 tbsp Walnut, chopped
    • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar Syrup / Maple Syrup

    Topping:

    • 1 pc Apple, medium
    • 1 pc Egg

Procedure

  • Wash and dry all produce, set aside.
  • Cut the slices of Gardenia California Raisin Loaf into cubes, set aside.
  • Deseed and chop 1 apple into small cubes. Deseed and slice the 2nd apple into thin slices. Set aside
  • In a bowl, combine Gardenia California Raisin Loaf cubes, Beau & Belle UHT Full Cream Milk, apple cubes, sugar, cinnamon, vanila, and 1 egg. Set aside.
  • In a baking dish spread around the butter until the pan is covered.
  • Mix well and transfer to the greased pan, spread the apple slices on top. (Optional: Lay it out in a pattern).
  • Brush with a beaten egg on top for browning.
  • Bake for 350F for 30 minutes or until the apples are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool then place in the fridge to set.
  • Slice into the desired size. Transfer to a serving plate / platter.
  • Drizzle the syrup on top, serve and enjoy!
