A classic pasalubong/ Filipino panghimgas with a twist. Using Gardenia Toasties as an alternative to flour giving it a crunchy texture and buttery taste.
Ingredients5 packs Gardenia Toasties
100 g Skimmed Milk
100 g Sugar
125 g Butter, Melted
100 g Chocolate, Melted
1/4 cup Candy Sprinkles (Green and Red)
Procedure1.) Crush Gardenia Toasties and transfer into a bowl.
2.) Add skimmed milk, butter, and sugar and mix until well incorporated.
3.) Using a polvoron molder, form the polvoron and transfer into a plate.
4.) Chill the toasties polvoron for 10-15 min.
5.) Dip the chilled polvoron into melted chocolates and sprinkle with candy sprinkles and let it set.
