Gardenia launches I Learn with Gardenia program

Gardenia recently launched the I learn with Gardenia program to public elementary and high school students, in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd).

Gardenia is continuously making a mark in promoting health and wellness with the newly introduced initiative I Learn with Gardenia. Under this new effort, Gardenia provides educational video materials to 25 schools in the DepEd Biñan Division where around 30,000 students will benefit from the program. The videos include discussions about balanced diet and nutrition, proper hand-washing and personal hygiene, good health habits such as complete sleep and proper posture, and a virtual Gardenia plant tour. These learning tools are incorporated in the lectures of the teachers in Science, Health, and Technology and Livelihood subjects.

The company aims to reach more school children with various DepEd divisions to continuously provide supplemental learning resources to online classes, especially during this time of pandemic where school learnings are facilitated using modular means or virtual platforms.

Gardenia Philippines has been an active advocate of health and wellness. Over the years, the company has implemented several corporate social responsibility programs and activities related to bread donations, wellness promotions, community-oriented initiatives, among others.
