Logistics Coordinator – Mabalacat, Pampanga


The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely coordination of transportation, distribution, and documentation activities. This role involves managing truck allocation, monitoring third-party truckers, coordinating inter-plant and warehouse transfers, ensuring compliance with ISO and HACCP standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Truck & Delivery Coordination

    • Prepares truck tray allocation to maximize utilization and support efficient loading of breads and trade items.

    • Coordinates and schedules inter-plant and inter-warehouse transfers of finished goods and trade items.

    • Ensures availability of commercial vehicles in alignment with Sales requirements.

  2. Dispatch Monitoring & Performance Management

    • Monitors truckers’ punctuality on arrival and departure at plants, feeding stations, and outlets, issuing penalties for late arrivals when necessary.

    • Conducts regular and random loading audits to ensure compliance with established schedules and procedures.

    • Evaluates truckers’ performance against agreed standards and provides feedback for continuous improvement.

  3. Fleet & Repair Coordination

    • Coordinates with Fleet Section and accredited repair shops for PMS scheduling, repair and maintenance, transfers, and deployment of trucks.

    • Facilitates and evaluates corrective repair requests and demand-driven maintenance activities.

    • Monitors repair shop billing and payments; assists in sourcing and accrediting new truck repair providers when needed.

    • Coordinates with Laguna Logistics and Purchasing for booking or rental of backup trucks.

  4. Documentation & Reporting

    • Prepares, processes, and ensures accuracy of Trip Tickets and other transport-related documents.

    • Submits timely and accurate reports and documents to FRS, following up on unremitted files.

    • Prepares and maintains ISO & HACCP records for the distribution section.

    • Prepares regular operations and performance reports based on agreed frequency and deadlines.

  5. Collaboration & Training

    • Provides timely updates and resolution of delivery concerns to the Sales team.

    • Participates in the training and orientation of new and existing truckers to ensure compliance with company policies and logistics standards.

    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Sales, Fleet, Purchasing, Production) to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • With 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, distribution, or related functions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledgeable in ISO standards and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets.
